First Presby Preschool

First Presbyterian Church Preschool celebrates 75 years of high-quality education. We currently serve ages 1-5 through the use of Creative Curriculum: Educating children to be creative, independent, and caring individuals.

In 2021, our facility underwent a renovation to the building, updating spaces, and adding additional preschool spaces and extensive security features.

Welcome to First Presby

All are welcome at First Presbyterian Church!

First Presbyterian Church is a welcoming home, a beacon of Christ’s light arising from inspiring worship and loving discipleship.

If you are unable to worship with us in person, please visit our YouTube page, go to the LIVE tab and stream each service every Sunday morning at 10:30am. (Please note, if you tune in early, the live stream may not be posted yet.) You can also hear us on the radio as our service is broadcasted on WCHS-580AM at 11:00am.

Upcoming Events

On Wednesday, March 22, 29 and April 5 at 12:30pm all adults are invited to come to our chapel where a comfortable pew is waiting for you. Our lives get so busy and our minds so muddled. With candles lit we will be playing Taize music for a half hour while you lie in the pew and rest or sit, listen and pray. Bring your lunch and eat for 15 minutes in room 117, then turn off your phone and focus on the peace which passes all understanding that God can give you. (bring a pillow/blanket if you like.)

The 2023 Concert Series is underway and going well! Click the image to the right for more information.

Join us for our Easter Services and events!

“He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’ Luke 24: 6-7

First Presby will be collecting food each week of Lent to be delivered to Covenant House for those in our community who are experiencing food insecurity. Click the image for more information on appropriate donations each week.

Thank you to all who have donated and/or packed and delivered! When donating food, please keep in mind single servings and cans with pop tabs. These kids may not have access to can openers or the necessary added ingredients.
