Preparation for Communion Workshop: January 7, 2018 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. in the Dining Room

 This fun, hands-on experience will help children understand the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper through various experiences including: art, bread making, prayer and a treasure hunt. After the completion of the workshop, children and parents will carry the communion bread to the table at the beginning of worship on January 21. First MOPS Meeting: January 10, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. in the Rec. Room

Are you looking for a way to connect with other moms? First Presby’s Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS)builds circles of moms who love each other like family. Our gatherings create a space where moms can share their hopes, dreams and insights about motherhood while being served spiritually and physically. LOGOS Winter/Spring Semester Kickoff: January 10, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. in the Activities Building

The word “LOGOS” means “The Word of God, or principle of divine reason and creative order, identified in the Gospel of John with the second person of the Trinity incarnate in Jesus Christ.” LOGOS is a unique discipleship experience that brings generations together regularly for worship arts, Bible study, fun and a shared meal. Children ages pre-K-12 are welcome to register for LOGOS, and adults who would like to volunteer their talents are more than welcome to join. Registration forms are in the main hallway. Midweek Lenten Services: Feb. 21, 28; March 7, 14, 21, 28 from 12:15-12:45 in the Chapel

Pastor Christian will lead a series of Lenten services on Wednesdays from 12:15-12:45 p.m. in the Chapel during the weeks between Ash Wednesday and Easter Sunday. The theme of the series is “One Another” and focuses on self-sacrifice in order to properly love God and our neighbor the way Jesus commanded.
