World Day of Prayer: Friday March 2

From noon on Friday through worship on Sunday, March 4, we’ll join with Christians around the world in focused prayer for our church, for our city/state/country/world and its leaders, for healing of broken relationships, or for whatever God lays upon our hearts. We can obey God’s command to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17) only by joining together in community, taking turns, because we all need to eat and sleep, too. You can participate in First Presby’s Prayer Weekend from wherever you are. Encourage your friends throughout the weekend by using social media and email, #fpcprayerweekend and together we’ll blanket our world with prayer. Look in the hallway for more information about how you can become one of First Presby’s Praying People.
