Mission: Food Pantry
Local folks can receive food from Covenant House's Food Pantry. The Food Pantry is housed at First Presbyterian Church, 16 Leon Sullivan Way, Charleston. Donations of all types of non-perishable food can be left at the church. Current needs are listed in the church newsletter. Recipients must first go to Covenant House to qualify and get a food voucher. Then they can come to the Pantry weekdays, 9:30-11:30 a.m. Volunteers are a must! They pack the groceries and track donations. Claude Churchwell is the local coordinator. Stop by to meet Claude and volunteer!
