Becoming a Part of the Church Family
We welcome all newcomers. First Presby is constantly renewed by the gifts and energies of new people who are seeking a strong spiritual foundation in their lives, and a vitality that comes from faith in Jesus Christ. We are all a family of seekers, growing daily in our faith, who want to make a difference in the world. We come in all sizes and shapes, ages, situations and circumstances, and whatever those life circumstances may be, we are all one in Christ. You are sincerely welcome here.
So that you can get to know First Presby better, several informative events are scheduled throughout the year. Inquirer’s classes, visitor luncheons, church tours, open houses, and occasional brunches are a few of the ways that you can become acquainted with our church, its members and staff. You are also encouraged to be a part of any class, program, activity, or choir in which you have an interest, gift or calling. Once you have become acquainted with First Presby, we would like to stand with you as you affirm or reaffirm your commitment to living the life of Jesus Christ through church membership. Following any worship service, one of the pastors and other church members will meet you at the Communion Table in the front of the sanctuary to answer questions or help with the process of becoming a church member.
